Alan Grayson has captured the attention of the audience again. This time has been by reading letters of people who have lost a relative because they could not afford health care coverage. Grayson referred to the House floor the voice of the people who usually is not heard. The congressman has a website, the Names of the dead, where people can send their stories explaining their difficulties with the health care system. Some of the stories were read by Grayson, in tears.
This is the second sign in few days that Alan Grayson has his own methods to address his messages. The first one was more controversial. It is linked wit the same issue and the politician made a heavy accusation against Republicans.
I do not know if these are the best ways. But there is no doubt that to show passion and being original is an infallible way to be listened to.
